In Stellaris, building an Empire with slavery and forced assimilation of foreigners certainly beats any type of xenophilia democracy in efficiency.
That’s what China does.
And the USA, they just call it ‘prison labour’.
My megacorp making 3 Dyson Spheres worth of energy credits just with trade would disagree. I could just buy any other ressource that I would be lacking (I didn’t need to).
