    He had Parkinson’s and could not talk. But, he wanted me to talk to him, according to the flight attendant, to keep him company.

      Awe… Hopefully you were good company and he wasn’t thinking “I sure wish this guy would shut up”. Just being in the same room as him is an honor.

        He was able to make his wishes known. When we landed I walked him through the airport. He could not walk well. The odd and beautiful thing was everybody in the airport would stop, stare and smile. The love and admiration was almost palpable. Ye gods it was a sight.
