    He already knows the vote will pass. This is just narrative to make it look like the Tories are unified and the infighting has stopped. The reality is that the factions, that were gunning for him, could not decide on who they wanted to replace him. This is nothing more than a stay until they can get themselves sorted out.

    The ERG are pushing their version of a narrative by publicly stating that the bill should be pull for amendments. This is so they can say I told you so when it fails at a later date. There is nothing they can do to make the bill pass without breaking international laws or agreements. This specifically threatens the TCA with the EU. Who only happens to be our largest trading partner. When the bill gets to the Lords, they will reject it. It is not part of any manifesto they were voted in with.

    Just don’t put the pop corn away just yet.
