Good Afternoon folks. It’s time for our first weekly ‘What I’m Playing’ thread.
We’ll keep this simply: What games have been occupying your time over the last seven days?
My son got Animal Crossing: New Horizons on the switch at Christmas and so I’ve been playing that. It’s a fun activity do with him as he a absolutely loves it! The slow nature drives me mad though, every interaction takes forever, and I don’t really get the aim of the game other than to build a nice island.
I think that’s pretty much it. Chill out, build a nice little community and take pleasure in only being able to do X things a day.
I know during Lockdown it was absolutely essential for me and my partner. We got the kid to bed and then would spend an hour or two just maintaining our islands and it was genuinely just…nice.
