If someone is eating cereal in their car and is forced to slam on the brakes, is the other driver responsible for the mess?
Or a less jokey analogy: if slamming on the brakes causes a box of nails to go flying, who is responsible for the damage?
I don’t have strong opinions on this…but if there was no collision (with the vehicles or anything else), how can the other driver be held responsible for an unsecured load?
