          I’m on Android so YMMV, but I use Firefox with uBlock Origin and Privacy Badger.

          But I’m mostly interested in removing ads and junk from my browsing.

          You need firefox with ublock origin my dude. Make sure to enable the anti annoyance and anti cookie banner lists.
