Trying to find a favourite Pratchett book is so difficult. I love all of the Commander Vimes and Moist Von Lipwig stories. And also Small Gods. And also Monstrous Regiment. Actually I give up, I love them all.
That may be the correct answer. I was thinking about it and The Colour of Magic stocks with me as it was the first one and blew me away at the time (there’d obviously been comedy fantasy before but nothing of such depth and breadth which told a great story and wasn’t just a way to poke fun at Tolkien) but then each book brought something new and fresh to his fictional universe.

Couldn’t agree more. It is so difficult. But it would be a crime if I didn’t mention Wee Free Men.
