Hell yeah, I’ve got basically the same opinion on those albums except I’d rate Flying Microntonal Banana higher since Rattlesnake was the first gizzard song I heard. Also I didn’t like Sketches the first time I heard it but that album is amazing to listen to while super high so it’s near the top of my list

pre-hrt I had the AC set to 80 F in my apartment and that was comfortable, now there is an incredibly small range of 73-74 F where I feel comfortable and everything else is either too hot or too cold
Normally I have nightmares about being attacked by roaches or sleep paralysis, today my brain decided to double up 
Wesley never gets better, he will continue to be that annoying
Gotten a couple more episodes in and I have some new thoughts
Firstly the show is a lot hornier than I though it would be, I’m only 7 episodes in and there’s already been two really horny ones, the one where there is an infection that causes everyone to act drunk and also the episode I’m currently on where they land on a planet with a bunch of fit beautiful people who wear skimpy clothing. It’s not necessarily a good or bad thing, just unexpected
Picard is a lot more reckless than I though he’d be, he’s made some really risky moves. Like the episode with the traveler where he pushes him instead of letting him rest for even a bit which could have completely fucked their only chance to get home. I get that the leader has to make hard decisions, but on occasion he seems too risky
Also Wesley is shaping up to be kind of annoying like I thought he’d be. Like he’s always right about everything but no one listens to him which creates conflict. I hope it gets better but I’m thinking he’s going to mildly annoy me the whole series

Picard: He’s a lot more serious than I thought he’d be, I guess that makes sense for being the captain but just like from what clips I have seen previously I had a wrong impression. I like him though, idk I feel like I don’t have a lot to say about him yet but I like when he’s on screen
Riker: I love him lmao, he’s great and also he’s really hot lol. He’s just got like a good vibe, a powerful aura. Him and Data interacting has been some of my favorite moments so far. He just seems really level-headed and good at rounding out some of the other cast who are a bit more particular
La Forge: Also another great character, there’s a moment in the 3rd episode where him and Riker are discussing what to do about being trapped in some tracker beam and he gets so excited and energetic when he see what Riker was thinking, great energy. He’s also cute too lol
Tasha Yar: I think she might be my second favorite so far, although she does go a bit overboard suggesting to torpedo everything lol. Also very gender envy, I kind of wish I could have short hair like that and if I was born cis I probably would but like my hair is like the most feminine looking thing about me so I’ll never cut it off
Worf: Ehh, he’s alright. I don’t dislike him by any means but out of like the main cast of characters he’s probably the one I’m the least interested or second least interested in the happenings of
Dr. Crusher: She’s pretty cool, I really like that in episode two she had enough willpower to overcome the infection and still operate and make a cure. I’m curious to know more about her past with Picard and how she knows him and what happened, I hope more of her backstory is dropped soon
Data: Data is my husband and I love him. I think I would have a great time hanging out with him irl, him just being so matter-of-fact about everything is refreshing when lots of people irl don’t say what they really mean. I feel like they’ve done a good job handling a character with a lot of abilities without making him the solution to every problem
Wesley: Ehhhhhhhhhh, I don’t really like him. Kid/teen characters are often quite ehh in shows, if they’re too smart/competent if just feels annoying but if they get in the way and fuck things up too much that’s annoying too. Maybe he’ll grow on me but I don’t really care for him being on screen
Finally doing self-care and working on my body after years of neglecting myself 
Why does this shit have to be so expensive though. The only cruelty free + vegan 10% urea lotion that I could find was like 30 bucks when you account for shipping and taxes. It sucks but if it takes 30 dollars for me to no longer be self-conscious about my strawberry skin legs that have been bothering me for years then so be it
dreams, drugs, and suicide mention
Had an awful vivid nightmare last night. I was back in college and staying late on campus for some lab thing when news broke that the US and China declared war on each other and that nuclear strikes were on their way. I sprinted home and was trying to get my car to start so I could go find my sister but it wouldn’t start. I then just kind of wandered out into the streets and found this old man standing by himself. We had a brief conversation and I gave him a hug then the nukes fell. It all felt so real and I like accepted my mortality and that this was the end
Not this exact dream but this scenario of nuclear war is a reoccurring nightmare for me and it all ways feels so vivid and real. I have a couple other really bad vivid reoccurring ones like one where I kill myself and another where I’m attacked and eaten by roaches.
I’ve heard people say that weed gets rid of dreams but I smoke as often as I have money to do so and I still get awful vivid dreams
