I am the Oxford Comma hater. I will never put a comma before and.
New project!
Maybe the gamers are right about this one…
"For the Aesir’s bridge burns with flames,
The sacred waters boil."
The god of wokeness says happy pride
Mad Max heads rise up
The two actually compliment eachother really well. I rewatched Fury Road after seeing Furiosa the context of her life beforehand actually made her character much more interesting.
Definitely see it in theaters if you get the chance, its really good. Its not better than Fury Road imo, but since FR is literally the best action film ever made thats not a mark against it.
Theyre pretty cool but tbh Ive never been a huge fan of flintlocks.
I am a huge sucker for break actions and that rotary break is insane lmao. Still doesnt beat lever actions but its damn close.
Hot take: Furiosa was better than Dune 2
There is objectively no cooler type of gun than lever action rifles. Revolvers are up there but lever actions are peak.
And I loved the fake nose prosthetic. Its weird at first, but it really does make you think of him as Dementus and not just Chris Hemsworth playing Dementus
Hemsworth was so great in Furiosa. Its great when guys stuck doing MCU slop get to play real parts, you almost forget that they’re professionals who are actually good at their jobs.
Went and saw Furiosa yesterday and it was fantastic. Can’t get enough of that crazy post apocalyptic lady.

I mean… its just a blob labeled pork, its not actual meat lmao
I mean, if you can be a monotheist and believe in other gods then you stop being a monotheist. Kinda makes the distinction between the two meaningless.
Im simply saying that polytheism structurally lends itself more easily toward tolarance/indifference toward the idea of other gods than monotheism. When you believe there are numerous gods its easier to accept that a different religion’s gods are also real or different interpretations of the same gods. Thats just not possible with monotheism because if only one god exists then all the rest have to be false.
Certainly there are individual polytheists and polytheistic religions that are intolerant toward outside faiths, I dont deny that. Hinduism comes to mind as a polytheist faith that still has political dominance and so is more inclined toward intolerance toward outside competition (though Hinduism doesnt really count as “Pagan”, so its less relevant to the point of my first post).
