TLOU2 was an absolute technical and polish marvel. The decor, the atmosphere, the music, the lighting, etc… sure the gameplay wasn’t anything groundbreaking, but you don’t play TLOU for the gameplay. Voice acting was top notch as usual.
The story is what I felt was wrong. Playing as Abby, meh, I disliked it but it wasn’t a deal-breaker for me, even tho I was constantly distracted by her uncanny physique. It’s all of the other bullshit that went with it, especially the final confrontation between Ellie’s friends in the theater and Abby. Then when you finally had the choice to finally kill Abby, you just… Don’t?!
At least make it a player choice for fuck sake. To me it felt like all the losses Ellie went through went completely meaningless
