Same, it took about 1.5 years from Gigaclear pushing paper through the door to getting hooked up.
On the other hand, OpenReach announced 4 times over the past 6 years, normally after an alt-net showed interest in expanding here to dissuade them. They still haven’t got a start date for the build out.

took three years from youfibre saying they were coming soon, to it being installed, but can’t complain now with my 1000:1000 connection.
