Hi, I wanted to ask if somebody knew which exam is necessary in order for a foreign person to work in UK. Specifically a software developer.
I’ve seen there are two kind of exams:
- General IELTS exam
- Academic IELTS exam
Do you know which one is needed?
You need the IELTS UKVI (general) test which is provided by the British Council specifically. It’s the same exam, but stricter facilities. The ‘normal’ test won’t be accepted by the Home Office.
