From the video, Stand By Me had a VFX shot (the train bridge scene, of course) but no one was allowed to talk about that. And of course The Fugitive train crash scene had to have “real trains” even though it’s all mostly miniatures.

    That was really good - they should do a whole separate series talking to industry veterans in the special effects field.

      They try to get as many actual vfx people as they can, and have had quite a few. Veterans much less so because well they’re old I guess … or higher ups now.

      They had for instance Gareth Edwards (Rogue One, Creator) on once, and the makers the Foundation TV show. And others.
