I think more is coming to light suggesting otherwise. While it doesn’t sound like he needs to hanged drawn and quartered, there are multiple reports of a pattern of behaviour that is absolutely unacceptable, work place or not.

As someone who in the past has made comments in this ilk, I have grown to appreciate how my ‘jokes’ were demeaning and undermining ro colleagues. I didn’t mean them or perceive them as such, but it doesn’t matter. I was still being a cunt.

Other allegations we’ve heard include Wallace talking openly about his sex life, taking his top off in front of a female worker saying he wanted to “give her a fashion show”, and telling a junior female colleague he wasn’t wearing any boxer shorts under his jeans.

BBC News has also heard from a former MasterChef worker who says he showed her topless pictures of himself and asked for massages

That wouldn’t be acceptable behaviour if they were on the same level (and he’d have either been sacked or hauled in front of HR) but, as he’s star of the show, that’s an abuse of his position.

With how vague the news report is, it sounds to me also that he said some rude jokes

Then asked the Beeb for a pay rise or something
