Inflation eh! I remember a time I got Christopher Lloyd’s autograph for £50. My wife took a photo of the moment but he didn’t pose for it, so I have the proof we met! 😁
I went with a friend to get Ray Harryhausen to sign the book he’d released - I am pretty sure if was free.
It used to be economical enough that I had the four main Dawn of the Dead cast sign a disc each of my DVD boxset and Tom Savini signed the cover. Probably didn’t cost me more than £20.
I went to a ComiCon before I had children, so I had money then. 😆
It was an expensive trip. As I said, I got Christopher Lloyd’s autograph on a picture of BTTF3.
I also saw:
John Landis who signed my US American Werewolf In London DVD.
Karen Allen and Paul Freeman to sign my Raiders of the Lost Ark US DVD
and Jason Mewes to sign my Jay & Silent Bob Strikes Back US DVD.
£150 for a signature or photo with HBC or Ackles! Simon Pegg seems a bargain at the weird price of £89.25.
And no mention of actual comics. At a comic con.

That was a good day.
Oh definitely!
Yeah, the prices weren’t as high but that did lead to foolish ideas like “I’ll get the cast to sign it!” Which does start adding up.
