Look I know, Clarks are expensive. I knew this going in. I also knew the little guy had flat out refused to wear every other pair of shoes we’d ever bought him…I was desperate.

That said, I wasn’t expecting to have to make a call to my bank manager to renegotiate my nonexistent mortgage before laying my phone down on the card machine.

Madness.

    I don’t understand the trend of buying children of any age branded clothes especially considering how they will be treated. Plus a baby doesn’t know what Nike is, it’s just the parents showing they have more money than sense.

    Unfortunately, when it comes to school shoes, it always pays to spend a little more. We always went to a Clarks Outlet shop so they would be a little cheaper but we’re still talking £30-40. My eldest now has size 14 feet like me and he’s only 14 so getting any shoes for him is a nightmare.
