I think it’s silly to put punctuation inside quotes if they’re not part of the quote, but that’s what’s technically correct. I put periods or whatever after the end quote instead of before. Can’t think of any good examples at the moment though

I butter my bread with the back of a spoon instead of a knife. In fact my username would be “butterspoon” except someone had already taken it on twitch back in the day!

It’s genuinely more efficient than using a knife. Don’t knock it til you’ve tried it.

You may be getting a visit from some men in white coats in the near future. You are clearly insane.

You are not supposed to use q-tips to clean your ears. But if it’s wrong, I don’t wanna be right.

I once heard someone say “you should never put anything smaller than your elbow inside your ear”. Not certain if that meant just because of the size. For me at least, it’s rather difficult to get my elbow anywhere near my ear which I think is the point.

Nothing. By constantly rubbing the inside of the ear, you’re irritating it and removing the oils, which in turns makes the ear produce it more, which in turns makes you clean it constantly.

It’s unnecessary. When you stop, the ears will get to their normal balance and self-cleaning.

If the ears do get dirty or truly well stuck with wax, there are ear cleaning sprays you can buy, or make a solution of hydrogen peroxide, warm water and alcohol, then gently rub in some olive oil.

I grew up making Top Ramen in the microwave, and never thought anything of it. The square noodle bricks, not the soup cups. I’ve recently been informed that’s not the correct preparation method and I should be using the stove. Oh well, I’ve got the timing nailed, not stopping now. lol
