The Crow star Bill Skarsgård says he wishes his version of Eric Draven wasn’t in such great shape because it doesn’t fit the character.

It just feels like there is a mysterious campaign to say nothing good about this film now. Yes, it may be rubbish when we finally get to see it but in this run up to its release, its all negative.

Yeah it feels like they know it sucks and want to distance themselves even before release. His Draven makes me think they should have just made “Devil may cry” instead.

I wonder if this was a contract movie everyone had to do. You don’t usually have the star criticizing how he looked and saying the ending is bad lol

When I looked into IMDb, it’s been the same producers since the original film. (Although one has since passed recently, he was around long enough to have his name on this film.)

It doesn’t matter how bad these films are, they keep coming back for another go. Even though this one took over ten years to finally get going.

At one point it was going to star Jason Momoa and got far enough that test footage was shot. It’s only a few seconds worth but it’s on the net.

Esthetically, the look is all wrong. It really seems like this was rushed through without any input from fans of the original. Including, perhaps, the main actor.

I think they’ve taken a look from one of the later comics. Maybe they’ve gone for this look to differentiate themselves from the original.
