I know its personal but feels like a super simple game with a coat of paint…
I’ll admit it looks fun.
But not $80 for a game then another $54 for the cosmestics battlepass season pass fun
I’ll just stay in Warframe where its free to play and its battlepasses are completely free.
Warframe sucks for FOMO though, they could still do a lot better
No? Only things to miss are battlepass and occasional events.
The last big one off event was Scarlet Spear.
Each vaulted part, warframe is “fomo”. They unvault sometimes for a limited time, again, fomo. You can pay to get a better chance by buying platinum and buying relics off the market.
They wouldn’t have to vault anything, every prime warframe could be available (maybe except excalibur since that was for early adopters, and umbra was the “prime” version everyone got).
No, each vaulted Prime rotates in and out of the vault on a well known and predictable timetable. Ditto the Duviri Circuit rotation, except that there its a much shorter rotation.
Outside of some completely optional fashion choices the difference between prime and non-prime is completely irrelevant.
The stat buffs a prime gets are irrelevant now with the archon shard system.
Biggest thing is that some of the primes are easier to get(e.g.Equinox, Nezha, Grendel) but again, the duviri circuit makes that point moot.
40k games??? That’s far too many
GW: It’s not nearly enough, more
bloodgames for thebloodgames god!
Good 40k games of you don’t fancy paying nearly £100 for a game
Boltgun
Dawn of war
Space marine
Battlefleet gothic armada 1+2
Mechanicus
Final liberation
Shootas Blood & Teef seems to be well regarded.

Oh yeah haven’t played that one. Need more Ork games
I don’t see Rogue Trader mentioned.
The ARPG WH40K Inquisitor - Martyr is unironically pretty good in its’ genre. All the live service seasons are accessible on character creation now, individually, and in offline mode. Pretty solid endgame, combat flow and selectable difficulty are different enough from PoE and Diablo to provide some unique gamer moments.
Don’t forget Rogue Trader. Falls into many of the usual CRPG pitfalls, but is still definitely solid despite that.
I would say Darktide is good too. Just too similar to Vermintide 2 from what I heard.
But for the love of God not DoW3.
It’s not 40K, but I thoroughly enjoyed Mordheim: City of the Damned, despite some bugs and rough AI in places.
Games Workshop is publicly traded. The stock must grow, which means the slop must flow.
A couple of my friends jumped right in… I’m asking them about it and it sounds like Helldivers 2 but with melee weapons
As a big fan of Helldivers, they aren’t really that similar. They aren’t completely different either, but SM leans closer to a hack n’ slash. Definitely space for both in my rotation.
Yo but at least were getting another Guillaume David album! And a game or something idk…
The games that most directly capture the feeling are more difficult to make and balance for fun. The more factions that are playable the more effort it takes to keep everything balanced, which even the tabletop game has always had issues with. The more successful games tend to capture the themes and do their own gameplay.
If it’s pve it doesn’t need to be balanced
Tell that to the Helldivers dev team
But they had to make it PvP as well so here we are.
