minus-squareturmacar@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up6·12 hours agoA scope limits your field of view. It makes it easier to hit far away things moving relatively slowly/predictably. It would be the opposite of helpful against a fast/close small target. There’s a reason duck hunters use shotguns.

A scope limits your field of view. It makes it easier to hit far away things moving relatively slowly/predictably.
