First EA Download manager, then they came up with EA Origin (I lost all my games from the download manager btw), and now they want to move again to EA App?

To me at least, the EA App (despite its lame name) is better than Origin ever was. I know that’s not saying much, but there it is. It’s more stable and has a better layout.

I just wish they’d stop thinking I “play The Sims” just because I tried a demo 5 years ago and decided it wasn’t for me.

Sim City 2000 uses DOSBox to run. It has some check for Origin. But it’s not included in the supplied DOSBox source code. I wonder how it will be after the transition.

Never had the energy to make a proper complaint about the missing source code.

      No, same store, different skin.

For me like 2+ years ago it already forced me to EA app. I installed Origin to reinstall Battlefield 2042, and it forced me to update to EA App, or the game wouldnt launch. This was when the app was BARELY functional, too.
