      Yeah, I’m not too impressed with this current Disney business model of “let’s remake our back catalogue in live action!”

      The live action Moana coming next year is only ten years after the animated original. Is it going to reach a point where there will be a choice at the cinema?

      “Do you want to see Toy Story 6?” “Animated or the live action?”

    I went to college specifically for animation during this time. I was fully committed to the old cell process. Instead everything we did was on a computer. And i absolutely hated it. Basically dropped out because of it.

    There’s still a lot of “2D” tv and less so film, but it’s just less manual and digitally drawn… the magic is just a little different now. Also, not all 2D is hand drawn frame by frame but there’s studios still pushing for this despite crippling unrealistic deadlines.
