A new sighting of the Loch Ness monster has been shared and is claimed to be “possibly the clearest evidence” of Nessie’s existance this year, according to a dedicated centre.

The Loch Ness Centre in Drumnadrochit – which was revamped with a new visitor experience this summer – thas recently reported a new sighting captured by John Howell on Sunday, October 8.

According to the centre, Mr Howell spotted something “mysterious” in the Loch which was moving slowly towards the tree line before it disappeared.

The man estimated it to be around 12 to 15 feet long.

    Really?! How long ago was it they scanned the loch with radar using a string of boats moving across it? Was that the 80s?

      It’s been a couple of times - I think there was a recent effort too. I also believe there was some kind of DNA testing of the water to determine what was in the Loch. Nessie is doing a great job of hiding away.

        I read briefly about the recent effort. I honestly can’t think why people spend the time doing this.

        If it were some ancient creature it couldn’t be singular. It would need a whole bunch of them to breed. There would just be so much more evidence.

        They should try using their thistle whistles.
