He’s taking the piss with the amount of music he’s put out. I have no idea where to start, apart from to say I have been listening to the stream only EP Film Music : Science Fiction which is a compilation.

Anyone getting into Eno probably already knows this, but Music for Airports is right up there with Aphex Twins Selected Ambient Works for its influence on ambient music going forward

Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks is probably most like the EP you’re listening too (they both have The Ascent on them).

Of the ‘Ambient’ releases, I’ve never really got into ‘Music for Airports’, but ‘Ambient 2: The Plateaux of Mirror’ has some very pleasant piano-led tracks, and ‘Ambient 4: On Land’ is weirdly terrifying at times, but something I still regularly listen to.

Not music, but I enjoyed Adam Buxton’s interviews with Eno:
    Part 1
    Part 2

This is the objective scientific answer, OP.

The Fripp collaborations also merit your attention.

Interesting. Have you got any other banal advice? When leaving a house in winter put your coat on outside so you feel warmer

Just for reference, in the case of Eno, this is the worst idea anyway - “Here Come The Warm Jets” is kinda… not that good.

        Still a fun listen though.
