It’s not really an “offender” though. You don’t invest in any of the weapons in any meaningful way like modifying them, specializing in or having to purchase them, plus it’s only for the final chapter of the game.

Even in the cutscene from MH:W, when you find Kulu it’s just rummaging through some vases and is scared to death and flees when it sees you. Makes you think who the monster in the game is.
