Yeah, there were a few on there that make you glad to see they are getting their books read:

      • Chris van Tulleken - there was a piece on Radio 4 about ultra processed foods and he contributed to it. I knew a bit about this but he lays out all the nasty knock-on effects of it very clearly.

      • Tim Marshall - Prisoners of Geography is great but I haven’t read the others in his Politics of Place series (Power is #4 and looks to be a return to form if the reviews are anything to go by) and my teetering to-read pile warns me I shouldn’t add to it any time soon.

      • Adam Kay - he and, the other doctor whose name escapes me (Philip Hammond?), have done a good job humanising the NHS and also holding it to account.

      • Michael Mosley is a tricky one - Trust Me I’m a Doctor is good but he keeps popping up promoting fad diets which I find a bit off-putting. However, Just One Thing has been running on Radio 4 and seems solid, sensible advice so the book should be useful for people looking to improve their health in a hectic world (ie most of us).
