    The “brainworms” stuff isn’t going to poison your mind if that’s what you’ve afraid of. The AGP part is a few pages but it is a debunk and is unlikely to have a negative effect if you were to read the book. Certainly less CWs in Nevada than some of the other mainstream trans novels.

        As someone who reads the same romance novels that cishet women read, can confirm that “AGP” is just the same old pathologization of female sexuality that’s been going on forever

            Yeah, I was thinking of making a post on it later today, but having grown up with these anxieties about not really being trans and it being just a fetish and then reading romance novels and seeing the sort of stuff cis women fantasize about was wild.

            Also, it’s not just that he has no idea about women, his theory for HSTS trans women was that they were too femme to ever be desirable to gay men so they transitioned to sleep with straight men instead, since gay men heavily prefer masc partners which is just kel-what. Like this mf has literally never heard of a twink before. Like he saw a tom of finland painting once and went “ah yes, this is the gay male experience”
