Tories have been loyal to moneyed interests since time immemorial, and they’re going to be thrown aside like a crunchy skeet blanket because billionaires want someone more controllable. Sucks to suck
Honestly billionaires have little interest in most local elections. This is why lib dems etc always had an advantage here.
They tend to be very low turn out and often ruled by more rational levels of wealth. IE, millionaires and middle class homeowners.
Honestly, it is the one place the poor can actually make a difference just by agreeing on a candidate and turning up.
