Banksy isn’t happy with Guess’ latest collaboration.

The legendary anonymous graffiti artist had a directive for his followers on Friday, encouraging them—possibly tongue in cheek, possibly not—to visit the Regent Street Guess store in London and steal the brand’s new collection that features his artwork.

“Attention all shoplifters. Please go to Guess on Regents Street. They’ve helped themselves to my artwork without asking, how can it be wrong for you to do the same to their clothes?”

What a fucking idiot. He / she could have sued them if he felt aggrieved instead of encouraging people to commit crimes.

Yet companies stealing people’s art and selling it for a profit doesn’t seem to bother you.

Did I say that? Or did you just jump to that conclusion?

You’re more upset by shoplifting than by the unethical theft and exploitation of someone else’s artistic work, so yes, you did say that.

You seem to be making things up again. 😥

I don’t like people breaking the law, and I said I don’t think it was a good idea to encourage law breaking. Where in that did you take it to understand that I support theft or exploitation of artwork?

You’re still crying about people shoplifting yet you still haven’t condemned the artwork theft. Reading between the lines and calling out your bullshit isn’t “making things up,” buddy.

When stealing someone’s artwork is completely legal but fighting back against it by stealing from them is against the law, maybe “the law” is just a bunch of worthless bourgeoisie bullshit. Stealing from thieves is objectively cool. Die mad about it.

Are you an actual 14 year old? Jesus who hurt you this badly?

Ok here you go, I have no opposition to condemning artwork theft. It is wrong and should not happen. Happy? Oh shit where’s your reading between the lines now?

At the same time encouraging others to break the law and steal is also wrong and a shit head move to do.

                Dios mío 🤣🥸

“Everyone who disagrees with me must be a child. There’s no way anyone could possibly disagree with me about anything.” Damn what an original, well-reasoned argument.

Ok here you go, I have no opposition to condemning artwork theft. It is wrong and should not happen.

Finally dragged out of you after two posts of you crying hard about something objectively less worse.

At the same time encouraging others to break the law and steal is also wrong and a shit head move to do.

At the same time only one of those things you shit your pants about.

                  Dios mío 🤣🥸

Take this bullshit back to reddit. Engage with the argument or fuck off.

No people that post with a “hurrr durrr you don’t like theft fight me” attitude are children.

                    Finally dragged out of you

Dragged what out of anyone? You’ve misunderstood basic words, jumped to conclusions, and are now irate.

At the same time only one of things you shit your pants about.

Like I don’t… I don’t know what the heck this is supposed to mean? Do I take you seriously or assume you’re a child? My best bet right now is to assume you’re a child by the way you’re responding. How is it controversial to be against theft? I dunno apparently it is 🤷.

I do when it’s directed at the bougie fucks. Not so much the other way around.

Last time he had to take it all the way to the appeal court to get them to agree he had the rights to his own images.

I can understand not wanting to do that again.
