He’s a nutjob (apologies to nuts and to employment). He wrote one of the books that emboldened the loopy Johnson/Truss/Sunak generation of Tories called Conservative Revival. He’s also VERY keen on bringing back the workhouses (genuinely, in his 2013 book Work for the Dole). Horrible nasty Tory.

He said he had worked hard in his career to set up businesses, adding: “It’s worked for me, it can work for the country as well.”

I have worked hard for my money[1], others should also work hard for my money!

If I was a Tory right now I would keep my mouth shut about things like ‘working hard’ and ‘getting ahead.’

Nobody wants to hear it from them.

This man is a mendacious liar and Unfit for fatherhood.

Interestingly the BBC haven’t opened comments on the article.

Quite happy to let angry keyboard man comment about what we should or shouldn’t do in Ukraine, but unwilling to give him a voice on this one.

Tories need to work less. And by “work” I mean do the bidding of a millionaire who will throw them a few quid.
